Which headshot package is right for you?
Four options is enough to be useful and enough to be confusing. Here is how to choose without over-thinking it.
The honest short version: most people who are not sure should book Signature. It is the one that suits the widest range of people and it gives you enough variety to be worth the difference. If you know exactly what you need and it is simple, book Essential. Read on if you want the reasoning.
Essential: £275
45 minutes, one outfit, one setup, two fully retouched images.
A clean, polished look on a neutral backdrop with soft lighting. Timeless and approachable.
Book this if you need a professional profile photo and nothing more. You know what you want, you want it to look good, and you do not need choice. It is also the right call for a straightforward casting headshot when your agent has been specific about what they want.
Do not book this if you are hoping for variety. One outfit and one setup means the two final images will look like each other. That is the trade you are making for the price.
Signature: £350
90 minutes, up to three outfits, two setups, four fully retouched images.
A more modern take, with bold or vibrant backgrounds available alongside the clean option.
Book this if you are not sure. Genuinely: this is the default for a reason. Ninety minutes is the point at which people stop being nervous and start being themselves, and two setups means you leave with images that do different jobs: one for LinkedIn, one for the website, one for the thing you have not thought of yet.
Do not book this if you need six or more finished images, or you want dramatic lighting as the point of the session rather than an option within it.
Headshot Plus: £475
2 hours, up to four outfits, three setups, six fully retouched images.
High-contrast lighting and stronger compositions alongside the clean work. Half headshot, half proper portraiture.
Book this if you need both registers: something straight for the professional context, and something with more personality for press, a bio, a feature or the about page of your own site. Actors who want a commercial look and a dramatic one usually land here.
Creative portraits, on film: £650
Up to 3 hours, up to four outfits, three setups, six frames scanned and retouched. Creative lighting, colour and projection are included as direction. This one lives on the creative portraits page, not with the headshot packages.
Bold, atmospheric and cinematic. This is where the technical work lives.
Book this if the image itself is meant to be an event: an album cover, a book jacket, a launch, a press shot that has to stop someone scrolling. It suits musicians, writers, performers and anyone whose work is the reason people are looking.
Do not book this if you actually just need a good headshot. It will be a beautiful photograph, and it may be too much for a company directory.
The upgrade nobody thinks about
Extra retouched images are £35 each and can be added after the shoot, once you have seen everything. So if you are torn between two packages purely on image count, book the lower one and add finals later. You will be choosing from what actually exists rather than guessing in advance.
