Capabilities
Scope & pricing
Commercial work is quoted, not listed.
Every campaign is priced against its own brief. Scope, production and usage all move the figure, and no two jobs land in the same place.
Tell us what you are making, where it will run and for how long. You will get a full quote with production costs and licensing set out as separate lines, so you can see exactly what you are paying for.
What moves the number
Shoot days. Motion and stills together or stills alone. Talent and casting. Hair and make-up. Location, studio and permits. Retouching volume. And above all, usage: where the images run, for how long, and in which territories.
How a project runs
Brief, then treatment and quote, then production, then the shoot, then delivery and licence. Nothing moves to the next stage until the one before it is agreed in writing.
Copyright
Copyright is retained unless assigned in writing. Assignment is priced separately.
What’s included
Every project, start to finish.
Pre-production
Planning, consultation and practical preparation.
The shoot
Professional photography with clear direction throughout.
Selection
Private selection gallery or agreed client selection process.
Post-production
Professional colour finishing and retouching.
Delivery
High-resolution and web-ready files supplied securely.
Add-ons & upgrades
Send the brief, or the rough shape of one. You will get a costed proposal, not just a day rate.
Tell us the shape of it. We send back a number.
Team headshots are priced by headcount. Commercial work is priced against the brief, the usage and the deadline. Budget and usage are the two answers that turn an enquiry into a proposal rather than a guess.
If you are booking a published-price session you do not need this form. Book it from the page it sits on.
Why Tilt Your Head
Creative thinking. Technical execution. Commercial results.
With a fashion photography background and extensive experience across brands, artists and agencies, we understand how to produce imagery that works creatively and commercially.
From concept to final delivery, we handle the visual process or work within your existing production team.
A brand usually starts with one shoot and discovers it needs three: the founder portrait, the product, then the campaign that ties them together. Planned as one job it costs less and looks like one brand. Commissioned in three separate panics, it does not.
Selected work · WAYAWAYA
A collection, a campaign, a shop.
One brand, one visual language, carried across collection imagery, e-commerce and the pictures that had to hold their own at a trade fair.
Iris Nikolaisen
CEO, WAYAWAYA
“Incredible photography work brought our brand to life with captivating visuals for social media, our website, campaigns and e-commerce.”
Selected work
How these projects actually run.
Case studies from commercial and campaign projects: what the brief was, what the work covered, and what we would do differently if it started again.
More case studies in preparation
Eyewear campaign, rail brand campaign work and a decade of collection imagery are being written up next, with credits and cleared images.
In the meantime, the fastest way to see whether we are right for a project is to describe it.

Frequently asked questions
The things brands ask first.
What types of projects do you shoot?
Fashion and lookbooks, campaigns and advertising, product and still life, e-commerce, jewellery and accessories, editorial, paid social content, and stills alongside motion.
Do you provide crew or production?
We can arrange casting, hair, make-up, styling, props and location as part of production, or work alongside your own team. Either way it appears as a visible line item rather than being folded invisibly into a day rate.
What is included in the quote?
The creative fee covers pre-production, the shoot, selection, colour finishing and delivery. Production costs and usage licensing are quoted on top so you can see exactly what each part costs.
How does licensing work?
Licensing is agreed up front based on where the images will run, in which territories and for how long. Broader usage costs more; a small social-only licence costs less than a national campaign. It is written into the quote rather than left vague.
Can you travel internationally?
Yes. Travel and accommodation are quoted as production costs at the outset.
How soon will I receive the images?
Typically two to three weeks depending on scope. If you need a faster turnaround, say so at the enquiry stage and we will tell you honestly whether it is achievable.
Do you shoot both stills and motion?
Yes, and shooting them on the same day is far cheaper than two productions. If the brief needs a script, interviews, sound or a dedicated crew, we quote it as a film production rather than an add-on, because that is what it is.
What happens if we need to change the scope?
Scope changes are re-quoted before anything is shot, not invoiced afterwards as a surprise. If the brief grows on the day, we will tell you what it costs before we continue.
